Slowed down to arrive when it got light. Last night we had the decked washed by rain which was good. The bad news was the humidity very high and so the crew were not as fresh as the decks despite a shower earlier in the day. Derek on Kalida was there to guide us in. Waitui Marina organised the check in with the authorities which was all complete by mid day.

Good for you.
we are (again) lurking a bit on your site. Lots of work you have done in NZ, but with pretty good results. Somehow it seems that your original schedule has been reworked and you wont be back in 2011.
BTW, while you are at Vanua Levu you could easily visit Michael. He and Kendra are running a small business with and for the locals, producing LED lights for boats. Perhaps you would need something?? His office is in Savusavu and the shop in Fawn Harbour. Link below. Say hi from me.
