This is our plan.
– Leaving Loch Creran early July 2008
– Crossing the Altantic ready for Xmas in Martinique
– Panama Canal April 2009
– Tahiti in time for the July 14th Celebrations
– Xmas 2009 in New Zealand
– East Coast of Australia mid 2010
– Thailand for Xmas 2010
– Red Sea March 2011
– Mediterranean Summer 2011
– Home September 2011
- But ……
There will be many reasons for changes! The basic route is determined by the need to be out of the way of hurricanes or whatever they call them in the particular part of the world we find ourselves. So you wait for the risk of hurricanes to be low before crossing the Atlantic; the cyclone season is spent in New Zealand and the Monsoon season in Thailand. Hi Mary & David, Moira has just let me know you are heading to NZ where I now live. Keith & I are near a west coastal town in the North Island called Raglan. Would love to catch up so let us know where & when you will be here. You might be ready for a bed that doesn’t move for a few days.
