Giselle was mustard now grey

May 6th, 2010 · 2 Comments

Good progress.

This week saw the hull get full coats of paint.  The first primer was a mustard yellow and the undercoat is dark grey.  The plan is to sand the undercoat on Monday and spray the final blue topcoat on Tuesday.  However the forecast for next week has rain for the first time for months.  High humidity will stop painting even inside.

The deck and cabin has a little more sanding and filling to go and will be ready for overall painting next week as well.

Aft cabin bilge has had the full 4 coats of paint all over with 7 coats on the bare metal.  Heads, cockpit locker and  lazerette  nearing the 7 coats.

I am still “wheelchair bound” but working on improvement..what is it they say…”Good things take time “…….
Am sure GISELLE is looking pretty and hopefully I get to take a peek before you leave…

If you “hang about” long enough I just may be able to have you aboard for dinner on MOONDARA……

    Keep up the good work
