In Wellington for the wind factory

December 19th, 2009 · 3 Comments

Getting ready to go across the Cook Straight tomorrow. The wind is suitably strong and the area is living up to its reputation.

Had a great time touring the North Island with a car and now off to the South Island and Christchurch for a Christmas.

Happy Christmas and a great new year.

Have a great Christmas and New Year in NZ and enjoy some warm weather whilst we are enjoying the snow – even in Dunoon we woke up to about 3 or 4″ this morning and promising us a few more flakes.
Take care and love to all

Christmas eve here in Bannockburn. We have been “marrooned” down south due to snow and had to take refuge in a (good) hotel as we couldn’t make it to Martyn’s son. Very seasonal – the children love it.
    Merry Christmas to you both

I have enjoyed catching up with your progress although the sailing “bit” is Double Dutch to me. You look fantastic – so relaxed and healthy! I am glad to read that you also have plenty of company popping in and out. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a very Good NewYear to you and all the family.
