My peppers, Pimientos de Padron style.
Well, having been in the library at Camarinas and realising how difficult it can be to follow recipes you now have step by step with pictures.

  • Buy your peppers. Small peppers about 1-2 inches long. 17_Pimiento_Padron_98.jpg
  • Heat oil in frying pan add peppers and salt.18_Padron_Cooking_Equipment_01.jpg
  • Fry for 4 mins tossing back a glass of wine, no tossing the peppers drink the wine.
  • Plate up.19_Padron_Ready2Eat_00.jpg

Eat and discard the stalks in an environmentally friendly way.20_Padron_Whats_left_02.jpg
Link to the padron peppers site which have a little heat but not the full blow your head off of chillies.

Padron is a town in Galicia. There is a flag in our “where are we” section or put 42.74,-8.66 in google maps.
