Another taste from Ireland from John Welsh

Apparently a tradition in Courtmacsherry is to have cabbage, potato and bacon for lunch. I guess all cooked separately.

    Don’t know about Irish tastes but cooked cabbage fried up with chopped streaky bacon can be bought in many cafes around Birmingham bus station. Along side fried sliced yesterday potatoes it makes a grand meal.
