Weight Loss Challenge 2 met

June 11th, 2008 · 4 Comments

David: Still doing well on the Montignac low GI diet. Weight loss has continued at 2lb a week. Have now reached the full 20kg loss challenge.  Thats more than 3 stone and hardly any of my old clothes fit! Waist has come down to 38 inches.  The book said I could expect to loose 20kg and that’s what happened. Interesting to see if I loose more than the 20kg.  Will keep you updated on how we find getting food to keep on the low GI regime while we are off on our travels.

I never had any doubts as to you making the target, congratulations that is a hell of a weight loss. I’m sure that a future diet of ships biscuits will keep you on track.

The best of luck on your adventure which really will be the trip of a lifetime.

Well done you. Partially inspired by your success in April and partly by a significant row from my GP I too have now lost some weight, 11.3 kg so far. Now applying handicap rules based on height does this mean you or I win? My BMI has gone from 36.8 to 32.9 in 8 weeks, a rate of -0.491/week. Perhaps we can compare waistlines on the 5th.

    Cheers
    Chris

Well done Chris. 11.3 is very impressive. We both started at about the same BMI. I was 36.2. Now just got below 30. Below 30 is when the Doctors stop calling you obese and start calling just over weight! Look forward to seeing you on the 5th. Large grey mooring just to seaward of Giselle is usually free
